ROCHESTER'S SUBWAY

This is the entrance to the East side of the Subway the used to run under our feet. This image is looking North on South Ave at Woodbury. Behind the trees is the Dinosaur BBQ and the Old Rundel Library. The subway bed is actually what was once the aqueduct. The upper road part known as Broad Street Bridge was used for traffic.

PICKLES COMES TO SWEET DAWN FOR LUNCH

Pickles the Squirrel eats his lunch at Sweet Dawn in the Clinton Square Building in Downtown Rochester, NY. He also likes to mate in front of the big plate glass windows leading to the courtyard. He is the Big Honcho around here and all the girls go wild for him. Here he is guarding his territory.

THE STORY BEHIND THIS HERE PHOTO BLOG

Do you know THE STORY BEHIND THIS HERE PHOTO BLOG, I feel you, Photo :: photos with feelings?

This blog is a venue where I can share my raw feelings, encased within my images. The concept for this blog came to me while watching Avatar at the IMAX Theatre. The characters, the Na'vi, live in harmony with everything in nature. I too live in harmony with nature, and thus my blog is born. I am able to share this harmony with you through my photography. In this movie, 'I see you,' becomes the affirmation of this harmony that the Na’vi share with nature. This inspired me to think, almost automatically, I feel you, Photo.

Photo's with feelings is an amalgamation of all of my styles of photography each created with my raw feelings, my talented eye, and my artistic ability. I share this vision with you.

Please visit on a regular basis, as I am always adding new images and stories.

I encourage you to share yours feelings that my images generate for you.

GRIEF :: IN MEMORY OF ANDREW C. SANTIAGO

You may have heard the sirens or the news cast about the young man killed in a motorcycle accident this past weekend July 11, 2010 in early morning hours. I did not know this young man, however I am moved by the GRIEF and LOVE others show. These images were taken at Barrington Park on Park Avenue in Rochester, NY. This shrine in memory of Andrew C. Santiago marks the location where this horrible accident took place. This situation is sad and unfortunate. I ache inside knowing there are people in the worst kind of pain, GRIEF.

GRIEF is powerful, it is unique for everyone. I have learned through life that we must allow others to grieve in their own way. In helping those who loved Andrew, I post these somber images of this most sacred place. May your GRIEF be short lived yet shared with loving memories.

Having experinced a similar tragedy, I cannot express the sadness I feel over this loss. If you do nothing else, just love those close to you.

Below is the Obituary is from Merton H. Kays Funeral Home. Also I have included a link to the article on NEWS WROC Channel 8's website. http://rochesterhomepage.net/fulltext?nxd_id=191515
