i feel you, Photo :: photos with feelings - WHERE DID THE FEELINGS GO

If you are following me, you may or may not have noticed I wondered off topic.

Topic? You ask, what is the topic. The generalized topic of my blog is PHOTOS WITH FEELINGS, me to the new photograph, "i feel you, Photo."

Most of the time I will be posting single images to represent a certain feeling. This week however I felt like changing it up a bit. I felt it was necessary to upload a variety of images from a bunch of recent shoots. As you can see in the photographs, I was at a lot of different locations. Sometimes it was warm or sometimes cold.  The sun was shining some of the time and other times, not at all . There was wind, rain and snow. A lot of the times I was shooting alone.

The photographs that I have posted off TOPIC should offer you plenty of feelings to fill you up while I wander to and fro through the internet jungle of Photo Blogging.

NATURE'S HARMONY

Nature has it's own way of harmony. These are outside my house.

FLOWER DAY AS A RESULT OF SUN DAY

As a result of the beautiful sun, we have Flowers. These were taken around Rochester. Some Magnolia and Cherry tree blossoms.

AAAHHH SUNNN...

If you could not tell just by looking at some of the recent posts, I really love the sun. I draw life and creative energy from the sun.  The sun keeps us warm. It helps things grow. It moves the air. It lights our photographs. It gives us Vitamin D. It is god to some of us. "Our star doesn't have a specific name, however it is often referred to as "Sol" from the Latin term for sun, or "Helios" for the Greek term for sun." WikiAnswers

CHARLIE :: BEEN SEEN ON THE STREET SCENE

CHARLIE :: BEEN SEEN ON THE STREET SCENE

I have seen this guy around Rochester for the past 10 years, always thinkin about what his story is, now I am able to capture this feeling and share it with you. I assume he is walking to Wegmans for his 2 bags of groceries. He will then walk the 2.5 miles back Downtown to the Cadillac hotel where he lives. I have seen him in the bank on Park Ave. before and standing in Manhattan Square park, smoking cigarettes. I have never seen him do anything else. Never a word, an emotion or as much as a look up.

He has been seen on the street scene.

GrRoArPyE hyacinth

These are some of my favorite spring flowers, Hyacinth. The are pretty, non-fragrant, and long-lasting(when  cut.)

These were located on Lafayette Park in Rochester.  This image is dedicated to my friend Rory.

The dedication is in the name. GRAPE and  rory combined.

APRIL SHOWERS AND MAYS FLOWERS

This is a shot that I took at the Studio - the AMATI MARTIN BACON RANCH... now there's a mouthful. Actually it's The Cheryl Amati Martin Photo Studio, check em out http://www.cherylamatimartinphoto.com

The Studio is where Cheryl Amati Martin and I collaborate on Weddings, Portraits, and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. The flowers out of focus and the rain on the glass sharpe and beveled.

OXFORD MAGNOLIA

Rochester's BEST location to capture the Magnolia Trees in Full bloom. Oxford Street, between Park and Monroe Avenue's. If you can't take the journey to see for yourself, here is what I saw this morning.

I feel at one with nature when I capture such beauty.

How does this image make you feel?

PALM THREAD

I keep seeing these type of plants all around at peoples houses. I am not sure what they are. It is relatively cold here in Rochester, NY. I generally though this was more of a hot weather or tropical plant. Any information would be helpful. For now it's PALM THREAD.

CHAOS 644

I shot this in the ARTWalk neighborhood near University and Goodman in Rochester NY. I love the shadows, the texture, the creepiness...CHAOS 644

WHERE WE'VE BEEN

WHERE WE'VE BEEN, is a great image that shows the path of the Carnival Glory as we cruise through the open ocean.

It is a month since our cruise and I remember WHERE WE'VE BEEN, and the feeling and memories are wonderful.

WHAT'S THE ...

This title is catchy. 'WHAT'S THE..." The rest of the phrase is up for interpretation, but the obvious is spelled out for you. OCCASION. Get it now! So now that we have that part out. For me the OCCASION for me is Anthony Casciano's 24th Birthday. He is my life partner and I love him. Happy Birthday Anthony! He and I were taking a walk down the ARTWalk in Rochester, NY and saw this in the window of GOODNESS CAKES - 585-271-1890. I totally recommend this bakery for your fine desert needs.

BUZZ ME

BUZZ ME... This is just interesting all the way around. I looks like of a ransom letter in a movie.

SUMMER SUNSET

This reminds me of a hot summer day. The beautiful sunset. This was taken on the western Caribbean cruise in March.

KALEIDOSCOPE

This is a photograph of the ceiling in the atrium on the Carnival Glory. This is the ship that Anthony and I went on for our western Caribbean cruise last month.

MOVING STILL

MOVING STILL, is a very intriguing abstract image taken through the rattan shade on the back porch with some color things behind it.  The colors are nothing pretty to look at in real life, well maybe the Forsythia but not the tree service truck next to that. A WALK ABOUT

I took a walk yesterday in the the Neighborhood of the Arts in Rochester, NY. The neighborhood is called ARTWalk. Here are some of the images I captured. While on my journey I went to the George Eastman House/Museum and got a few shots.

NEW BEGINNINGS

'NEW BEGINNINGS' was taken on Oxford Street at the corner of East Avenue in Rochester, NY just seconds from the George Eastmans (founder of KODAK) House and Museum. The new buds on the bushes are the new beginnings that make everything worth while. I try and use the positive influence of life and nature to carve my path.

ASCENSION

A creepy ascension into the unknown. Are you sure they live here? Whats behind the door? Do I have to go up there? C'mon. let's just leave...

Nostalgic

Monroe Theatre, Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY. This historic landmark has a shady past. We can look pass that to see the beauty of the original marquee.
